Solo trip to Sicily

Hi! I am a 30 year old teacher planning a last minute Sicilian solo trip in early July. I have never been to Italy before or driven in Europe, so I am trying to mostly avoid renting a car.

Im thinking of sticking to Western Sicily this trip:

3 nights Trapani

4 nights Castelemare del Golfo

5 nights in Palermo

I want to do day trips to marsala/ erice, favignana island, scopello/ san vito, and cefalu. I may consider renting a car for 1 or 2 days in Castelemare. I want a trip that is not too stressful and focused on beaches and good food.

Does this make sense? Should I switch it to Ortgia/ Siracusa on Eastern Sicily? Should I trade Castelemare del Golfo for an agriturismo somewhere? Are these locations solo traveller friendly?

Or should I switch it around and add days in Milazzo?
