I’ve been on the injection for 4 years now and it stopped my periods completely,no spotting or anything.Today I’ve had cramping and have started my period.Im due my next injection in 10 days but I’ve never had this happen before.Has anyone else experienced new symptoms/side effects after being on a birth control this long.

I’ve been on the Sayana Press injection for 4 years now and I’ve never had any noticeable side effects.I don’t get any bleeding or cramping normally even when I’m close to the next dose.However I’m 10 days away from my next one, today I’ve had cramps and small amounts of bleeding.Has anyone else experienced side effects or changes in how the medication works after being on it for a while.
