Reasonable Adjustments for our cleaner?
Good morning,
This is a throwaway as I am at work and they don't need to know my subreddits.
I work in a prison who have cleaners come in via a separate company. However, the cleaner we have who is an amazing worker has worked herself to having golfers elbow and wrist issues.
In our area, she has a special bucket which was purchased by our governor, however the other areas she doesn't have the buckets and it would be impractical for her to take it with her amongst other items.
What legal basis would this lady have to take to her line manager for the purchasing of these easy use buckets for her, so she doesn't continue to be in agony for her job?
I have thought about purchasing some for her myself, but honestly, I am pay check to pay check.
I was wondering if the Equality Act 2010, but I don't know if she meets the criteria.
Thank you all kindly,
