Hey everyone,

I am heavily considering putting together a [[Zurzoth, the Chaos Driver]] deck together. I have yet to spend any time with a burn deck in commander, but really love the play style in other formats.

I also believe I may have found some fun and slightly goofy interactions with stuff like [[Pain for All]], [[Shah of Naar Isle]], [[Khovarth's Fury]]

The rest of the deck is pretty obvious stuff with [[Impact Tremors]] [[Mechanised Warfare]] [[Raid Bombardment]] [[Zenith Chronicler]] Some non token Devils. Some removal and a smattering of theft to play to the strength of the table. The budget RN is 50 buck, tho going below is certainly welcome.

The way I see it there are two points of worry for this deck.

  1. Fun, as people draw more cards they might get to take more game actions. That is fun. Burn though is a hard damage type to prevent. Less fun. How do I keep this type of deck fun the rest of the table?

  2. Ramp is of such little use. A lot of the power comes from simply having the commander on the board and swing. Including a ramp package can help him arrive turn 2 instead of turn 3. But is that worth less power in your draws for the rest of the game? In most other decks I might consider it, but here I feel like it is probably not.

  3. There might be a third thing I haven't considered yet. Please feel free to enlighten me.

Intention is to play this in Bracket 2.
