For context, I've had a opossum processing since early February and yesterday when I was removing the fur to transfer it to a bucket one of the claws ripped a hole through my glove and poked my finger. It didn't break skin and I wasn't bleeding but i could tell the claw did prick my finger, I immediately cleaned and disinfected the area with dish soap and 70% peroxide and washed my hands several times after. Now, the area where the claw poked me has a slight red bump, and now I'm worried about infection or rabies (more so infection)

I just wanna come on here and see if anyone else has been scratched, poked, or injured in any way when handling and processing a carcass. Thank you
