Hi first time dog owner, of a just turned 7mo puppy (he was with a friend, for the past 3-4 months after being bought from a breeder.) I’m always seeing dachshunds burrow themselves in the blankets, and I sleep with the fan on every night; my concern is he might be cold and he wouldn’t know how to get under the blanket by himself, I’m not seeing him try either. He has a dog bed and a make shift bed (three folded stacked blankets) it sounds funny but he prefers it rather than the $60 memory foam bed I bought. Anyone else dachshund not dig in blankets? Am I being dramatic? He also isn’t very verbal. Vet said hes healthy and great. Any advice is welcome
