First two pictures are from February 2026, when I was on tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide topicals along with spironolactone. Last two are from today, marking my third month on accutane (20 mg). I had been on the topicals from October 2025 through May 2026. While they didn’t help much with deep acne, as shown in the photos, the overall texture of my skin improved quite a bit. Because of this, my derm and I decided that I would start accutane. I’ve been on 20 mg since the first week of June. I still have at least 3.5 months to go. I’m still getting breakouts as you can see (and I still have a habit of popping haha - have any tips?), but I’m being patient and hoping that things will really turn around eventually!
