In my offer for the Rotman School of Management MFRM program, there are several prerequisite courses that I need to complete before starting.

However, I have already taken similar courses during my undergraduate FARM program at the University of Waterloo. For example, I completed MATBUS 470 (Financial Derivatives) in Winter 2026, which is exactly the same as the Financial Derivatives prerequisite.

I have already emailed Rotman, but I am wondering if it is possible to have these prerequisites waived even though they are listed in my offer.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Thanks!!!
