I’m in discussion with my doctor about hysterectomy for a very large fibroid (16 - 18 wk pregnancy size). No pain or excessive bleeding, main sx Is the bloated belly and distension. For others who had alot of distention, did the appearance of your abdominals improve greatly ? How long to see results after swelling improved ?

In order to move forward with hysterectomy, my doctor has schedule me for an Endosee with biopsy. Reading horror stories online !!! Is it that bad ???

Surgery is to be scheduled, but I’m worried about recovery . I am self employed, no PTO, so need to be back asap. I’m a therapist who makes my own hours . What’s the best case scenario? Plan to have lapro surgery in the fall
