Need to recall the name of a short horror story about “deadly” sunscreen
Years ago, I read a story, which I believe was a part of a collection of short stories, with either Ray Bradbury or Stephen King vibes (even though it’s not theirs, at least chatGPT didn‘t locate them). The plot was based around a couple going to a beach, the woman applying sunscreen on the man’s back and at the same time putting some sort of toxin/poison/paralytic into it. She also scratches his back causing bleeding which he couldn’t feel due to being numbed up. Eventually, she leaves him to bleed out in the sun.
I vividly remember this plot twist (maybe some details got mixed up) but can’t find the exact story or who wrote it anywhere.
