Pumpkin seeds are more rich in biotin than sunflower seeds, but the sunflower seed lobby pumps out so much work even Google recommended sunflower seeds over pumpkin.
I know, it’s not that deep… The point is because of money influencing literally everything, as consumers we’re either forced to just accept what they say as best or question literally everything.
It just so happened that I already knew pumpkin seeds were good for biotin, but when it comes to food and nutrition there is a lot of good options that aren’t appearing in search.
Closed loop data centers aren’t actually closed loop, but the tech bros really hammer on it being the environmental solution… Why do we keep buying it?
True closed-loop data center cooling systems rarely require a complete water change-out, however, they still require consistent makeup water to replace what is blown out periodically (often quarterly or annually). They still need to "blow down" or flush the system to manage mineral buildup.
Blow-down (Flushing): To remove accumulated solids, minerals, and contaminants, operators perform a "blow-down" that involves releasing a fraction of the water, often on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Continuous Makeup Water: While they don't dump all the water regularly, closed-loop systems still require ongoing replenishment of water lost to evaporation from cooling towers.
Maintenance Cycles: Water quality is typically tested and treated to manage chemical additives, such as biocides, at least every three months. When they flush these systems, that water is put into our municipal water networks and contributing to the heightened nitrate levels that are difficult to lower.
Albeit there are claims that newer systems don’t require all of this water, and perhaps that might be solved, but then why are we still seeing all of these closed loop pushes? For example the “closed loop” data centers that took in millions of gallons of water before the locals even realized it: https://www.politico.com/news/2026/05/08/georgia-data-centers-water-00909988
We are rushing these data centers, and I’d ask everyone in communities (like mine) with centers already established what’s happened to your water? Is your water department struggling to maintain healthy levels of nitrates and nitrites? Ours is.
Independently researched in academia or media closed-loop data center water concerns seems to be buried in search engine results. This closed-loop data center used 30M gallons of water, 44 Olympic size swimming pools.
Even if that is just a one-time water draw, which has yet to be seen, and I’m skeptical of who is being trusted to tell us how much. We also still even in a closed loop system see water eventually being so contaminated with PFAS and other contaminates that eventually when that water is released back into the water utilities it contributes to a nitrite nightmare.
Sure hope the AI is smart enough to solve its own problem before this takes hold in every corner of this country.
Obviously a million different scenarios are possible with most being this flies without a hitch, but this dark thought just crossed my mind…
If this rushed jet is used on the 4th by the President, then it’s possible the jet experiences some kind of failure, which will result in Qatar or terrorists being responsible and ultimately igniting ww3.
This serves the oligarchs who are growing frustrated with Trump, Thiel is ready for Vance to take the reins in hopes of us moving on from Epstein and the cabal of rich pedos. Although we all seem to collectively dislike Vance, a ww3 scenario with 2.5 years left of Trump’s term for him to finish out could give him an opportunity to win over the public sentiment since we’d all be focused on hating a foreign enemy (or so they’d believe).
For one, this plan assumes he could win over the public when we’ve all seen by now this is an issue with who is funding these politicians regardless of party… but I think they still believe it’s possible.
Secondly, this would be an emergency change in the plan since they’ve been trying to wait until January to get rid of Trump. If they make this move before January then that could be a sign of a many number of other things.
Last, it could also actually be an adversarial attack. That’s thing about theories… we can be wrong.
As much as I can’t stand him, we need Trump to live.
