This scene has been stuck in my head for days now and google is useless to me trying to find this book.

So the scene that is stuck in my head is of the male mc who is going to hospitals healing people, but then is contacted by his gf to the room of a little girl with cancer or summin and has been kept alive until she turns 18 by her parents to collect life insurance when she dies. The male mc decides to adopt her and heal her then replaces here with a clone that is to take its life a few days later so the parents can’t get any money.
