Hi. So I’ve been having driving lessons since the start of February and I’ve only practiced in empty parking lots with my dad, which isn’t that helpful anymore as I need to practice on roundabouts.
My dad is insured with goskippy and he called them today about learners insurance, but they said they don’t offer it and can’t insure me as I’m only 17. The car that I’ll be driving is already insured with goskippy and my dad isn’t really proactive with looking at other insurance options. Therefore I’ve been trying to look, however this isn’t going that well as I don’t know a lot about the car (eg estimated value, estimated miles etc).
My driving instructor also keeps nagging me that I should practice more with my dad as my test is in around 2 months and I need way more experience, and to be fair it is a fair criticism.
What are my options insurance wise?
