Current ecosystem: • Axis Magnus Burgundy • Amex Platinum Travel + MR ecosystem • HDFC Infinia + BizBlack • Airline + hotel transfers
Current balances: • ~3.8L Axis eDGE Rewards • ~2.8L Amex MR • ~2.5L HDFC Infinia points • ~1.4L BizBlack points • Plus airline/hotel balances
Total tracked value: ~10.5 lakh+ points/miles.
Biggest things I learned: 1. Transferable points > cashback 2. Transfer bonuses are where the real magic happens 3. Hotels can sometimes give better value than flights 4. Devaluations are real — hoarding forever is risky and I’m guilty of that too. 5. India finally has a decent points ecosystem if you optimize correctly
Still deciding the best redemption: • Europe family trip for 2 adults and 2 kids under 5 • Business class redemption? • Marriott/Accor luxury stays but Accor no longer accessible. • Avios sweet spots?
