i remember it was about a boy, his mom, and his sister. the dad was in the military and the boy believed his dad was a POW(prisoner of war) and tried to find him. the sister goes with him, and theres something about the dad going home but he turns to a bar instead and just chooses to not go home? the mom was really upset with the dad, and hid any letters he sent. the boy finds out and is really upset with his mom. there was maybe mentions of a museum, morse code, the kids taking the bus without their mom knowing? i dont remember anything else minus those few details
