Hit parked car
Unfortunately earlier today I was parking next to a car and ended up bumping into it. I got super paranoid and didnt check throughly as much as a I shouldve for scratches nor did I take pictures but I saw there was no dents. I wrote down my contact information and they got ahold of me later. I told them I was willing to pay for it and they agreed they will take it to an autoshop tomorrow and see if they need a new bumper and paint job and then we will see if I should pay out of pocket for it or if we should go through insurance. I just need some advice on which route to take as I am completely new to this as I am 19. How much am I looking at to pay and would out of pocket be easier than insurance? If we do out of pocket what is release of liability and how do I do it? What happens to my insurance if we do make the claim? Im super anxious right now and falling down rabbit holes any advice would be helpful
