Post-LASIK flap wash day 16 - micro striae or macro striae? Seeking professional opinion on slit lamp findings
Hi everyone, I'd appreciate input from any ophthalmologists or optometrists who can comment on slit lamp findings. I'm trying to understand whether what's visible on my cornea is microstriae or macrostriae, as this affects management decisions.
It's been affecting my vision 1 month after lasik so the doctor did a flap wash which hasn't helped.
Now 14 days post flap wash it's still as bad as before and worse the doctor the disregarding it as a micro thin line striae and he just said it'll heal with time, is it really the case? it's really bothering me the text is stretched left and right and I see ghosting but when i cover that part of my eye with my finger it becomes MUCH better
My question:
Based on the attached slit lamp images, are these:
- Microstriae
- Macrostriae
