Hi!
I've been in Durham for the past two moths, so far enjoing it a lot! Commuting to work by bike has been quite pleasant (except for the hilly terrain, altough that makes sure i wont skip leg day)
Since i'll just have another month or so to further explore the area, and renting a car to se other parts of NC does not seem to be within my budget, i wanted to ask advice on places i could realistically and reliably reach either by bike or public transportation.
To give some context, i am an amateur photographer particularly interested in landscape photography. I was thinking on biking to the Eno river state park, since it is like 40 min biking from where i live (watts-hilandale) but i honestly dont know if that would be a good idea. Moreover my bike is quite banged up and i feel it could fail me at any moment for good.
I was also thinking on taking the train/bus to do a daytrip to Raleigh. Any other locations i should be aware off? Where i could go?
