While reviewing our expenses recently, we noticed something strange we were still paying for a bunch of SaaS tools that nobody on the team was actively using.
After digging deeper, it got worse:
- Multiple tools doing almost the same thing
- Subscriptions that were set up and forgotten
- Features we were paying for but never touched
The biggest issue wasn’t cost it was visibility. No one had a clear picture of everything we were using.
Once we mapped everything out, it became much easier to decide:
- What to keep
- What to replace
- What to remove
We ended up cutting a noticeable amount of unnecessary spend just from that process.
Curious how do you guys keep track of your SaaS stack as your team grows?
