I see that the method is via a international wire transfer via RBL Bank, situated in Gujarat. How is the currency conversation process managed here ? Also is I see in other threads that the opening of RBL Bank account is optional now and there are other means of operating, can somebody elaborate, if at all this is possible ? I am using from 2024 time frame and opening the RBL Bank account was mandatory then, or atleast I had the impression of that. Is there a local US counterpart where I could transfer the USD here ? As it seems I am putting the money to Indian shores here before being again redirected to US.
