Hey r/AppGiveaway,

We’ve built Curator, a Duolingo-like app for learning art history, and we’re making all contents free for iOS users right now!

The idea is simple: spend 5 minutes a day learning famous paintings, artists, periods, and styles in a way that feels approachable and fun.

Sometimes we went to a museum and wished we knew more about what we saw: we want to have a Duolingo-like app where we can learn a little every day, build a streak, recognize more works in museums, and gradually feel more confident talking about art history. We couldn’t quite find one that felt right, so we started building it ourselves.

What’s in the app right now:

- 60+ lessons organized by topic [All FREE]

- 15,000+ paintings in the database

- daily discovery magazine where you can browse our hand-picked paintings daily.

- short quizzes on artists, paintings, styles, chronology, and periods

- artwork pages with background, story, technique, and significance

- painting rewards and collection features as you learn

- a personal gallery where you can revisit unlocked works

- minigames and daily practice modes

- text-to-speech function so you can listen to painting stories as well
