Yesterday we discovered mold in my daughter’s bedroom closet after I was cleaning it out and started experiencing an asthma/pretty bad allergy flare up while doing so.

Our property manager came today and identified a roof leak that “looks like it’s been there a while but probably only leaks during gusty rains”. He is calling a roofer for the leak but only spray painted the mold with an oil based spray paint. This doesn’t feel sufficient, especially bc of my respiratory and allergy symptoms, but i’m not sure where to go from here. We live in NC.
