Colic babies food remedy

posting just with the hopes to help another mother/baby.

Ive had two children that at about 2 months became very colicky and as you know with colicky babies.. everything is just hard and exhausting..

fast forward I went to my doctor (holistic doctor using muscle testing) .. she told me my daughter was severely sensitive (they do outgrow this) to dairy, gluten and soy. I took these items out of my diet and after about a week my child was happy and healthy again.. and if I accidentally ate one of these items it was 3 days of misery again (NOT WORTH IT) .. so at 2 months when my son started exhibiting all the same colickyness, I knew immediately what to do again .. remove soy gluten and dairy.. and once again, BRAND NEW BABY.. oh my heart.. he was no longer in pain..

side notes I want to mention - dairy takes about 2 weeks to rid itself from your body.. SO give this time.!! my doctor did put me on a supplement by Standard Process called Multizyme.. that sped up the excretion of dairy from your body in about 4 days instead of the two weeks... she prescribed two per meal (6 daily).. this can be puchased online.

another note I want to make.. with my daughter I continuously tried looking up DF, GF, SF recipes for every meals.. PITA/echausting.. so much times I’d go hungry.. now woth my son.. and the help of chatGPT.. my eating is SO easy.. every meal.. have a carb, veggie, protein, fat.. mixed with avocado and salt in one large bowl .. DELICOUS, EASY and hopefully extremly helpful with weightloss too (BONUS).

my Doctor also said I could have ghee which ingreadients say contain milk but I can’t remember why she said it was like an inactive form or something that wouldn’t affect kids.. and never afftected either of my kids.. I also found with my son if I ate GF corn chips something in those ALWAYS made him sick too.. therefore.. I stick to a real clean diet..

my cheats are brownie in a cup (with almond flour), Franz GF toast with raspberry jam, almond butter covered rice cakes and a lot of fruit

again, I am only posting this because it saved two of my babies when they were in immense pain after feedings for weeks.. poor babies and poor mom too!! My only hope is that if you have a colicky baby it’s most likely a food senesibity that boils down to these 3 categories!! So get started on this TODAY.. and don’t cheat because it always backfires 10-fold for these little bellies! And remember. dairy can show up on a food label as a lot of different terms (whey, ect) .. so I hope these tips help you and your baby find peace and comfort again.. Godspeed mama.. you’re doing amazing ❤️
