i’m not sure exactly what i’m posting for, maybe just a bit of moral support to stick it out 😭

ive been on 20mg of lexapro for several years due to anxiety. however, in consultation with my doc due to my anxiety symptoms returning they recommend i try effexor instead of jumping to 40mg of lexapro (tl;dr: double the dose without double the benefit)

i swapped from 20mg lexapro to 75mg effexor without taper or break. i’ve just finished up a month on effexor and i feel like a big bundle of nerves, always tense, and nauseous.

i’m going to the doc this week to up my effexor dose.. has anyone had a similar switch? does it get better?
