Please I'm in dire need of help with this issue, I'm currently sitting my highschool leaving board exams which is like the most important thing in my life till now AND MY FANS KEEP ON ACTING UP.
I have g-helper installed on a 2022 model (all updates made) and for some reason I have this issue that just comes back every couple of weeks, where my fans just hit max speed out of nowhere and never go back down no matter what I do, I've tried changing modes, I've tried custom fan curves but the only way to stop it is to force stop the laptop by clicking the power button for a long time.
What pisses me off the most is that it doesn't happen when im playing video games or using something that actually deserves this much cooling. Im literally just studying using a couple chrome tabs and pdfs and it just keeps on happening, stopping for a couple days and then happening again out of nowhere. Atleast it keeps my laptop at a consistent 40 - 55 degrees but its so annoying trying to focus with it and im afraid it wears out the fans.
If anyone experienced a similar issue or knows how to fix it please help me out 🙏
