I am looking for some recommendations on a cute unique dress to wear to a black tie wedding. I am hoping to wear a darker color and hoping for something more unique than a standard black or one colored dress. I am in my early 30s very hourglass shaped. Large chest and hips and smaller waist. I’m looking to build simple table covers for a few radiators in my apartment to create some extra usable surface space. They don’t need to be decorative or look nice at all, but they should be sturdy enough to hold a reasonable amount of weight.
I’m aiming to do this as affordably as possible since I won’t be in the apartment long. My plan is to use pre-cut wood from Home Depot or find some scrap wood to use. I already have a drill and basic tools on hand.
If anyone has suggestions on the best low-cost approach, such as what type of wood to use (including thickness), how to attach or stabilize the legs, or any tips to keep things simple but sturdy, I’d really appreciate it.

*Edit: I have some experience building theatre sets in college but it has been a very long time since then.
