While I was at the Little Craft Fest in Houston, I stopped by Dromgoole’s and bought my first expensive (over $50) pen. I told the very helpful gentleman that I loved my vintage Platinum 22 Pocket Pen and my Lady Sheaffer. I demurred at the Pilot Elite 95s given that my vintage platinum is basically the same pen but when he pulled out the Pilot Grance in Serene Pale Blue my heart was taken. I love the slender size with the metal heft, a match for my Lady Shaeffer but in a modern iridescent enamel. I bought Wearingeul “A Little Princess” which is very similar to Kobe #63 Hydrangea but with a gold shimmer but after a bit of shimmer fun and just one day later, I switched to Oblation Papers and Press Little Craft Fest special edition Lupine Meadow, which is a lovely match as well. Ah, lavender love 💜💜🪻🟣
