Three light knocks on my bedroom door at 4am after a confusing dream
Don’t really know what to say, today I had a dream that I awoke from at maybe 02:30-3:30ish am. I don’t remember the entirety of the dream but I’ll copy and paste what I wrote in my dream diary,
“I had a weird dream, I don’t remember all parts of it but what I do remember is a grasshopper or insect attempting to burrow into my pinky finger, I was at this school setting. I remember ripping it out agaisnt the advice of the other students however I refused to listen and said I must remove it. I remember then, in an effort to block out the other students advice praying loudly in Arabic, either the shahada or a particular prayer I can’t remember. I remember feeling at the end of the dream a sensation of inevitability. The beginning of the dream was also at the school, however this section is more fuzzy, I remember seeking wisdom from a dragon (?) the dragon part I don’t remember well or if it was even a dragon, I remember searching this classroom for objects, I believe in this search I came across the grasshoper (maybe ?). The last thing I remember is feeling like this school setting was familiar as if I’ve dreamt in that location before. The grasshoper section I remember clearly, the rest, less so. I seem to recollect needing an object from that room to proceed further or defeat something larger, perhaps the dream was a warning of seeking knowledge in the wrong areas to achieve an ultimate goal I do not know. I have recently been researching the occult and this may be linked.”
Now the dream itself was somewhat unsettling more so due to the grasshoper trying to burrow into my finger, however after about 30 minutes to an hour of laying in bed on my phone I 100% heard three light knocks on my bedroom door, not heavy at all but very light, as if with the knuckle of the finger. This aspect was 100% not a figment of my imagination as I immediately reacted to it. I did not hear anything following, nor did I open the door or really react until I left my bedroom maybe ten or 15 minutes later to go the kitchen and eat/investigate. Everybody in my house was asleep, nobody was in the passageway.
What’s your thoughts people, I did not feel necessary threatened however the last year I’ve felt incredibly drained and unlucky although I have attributed that to smoking and its effects on my cardio vascular system.
