a place where scientists can read about the implications of their work
saw people sharing what they’re building here so here’s my go:
i’m working on an online journal: a student-led platform focused on science, philosophy, and especially philosophy of science. essentially a place where science-interested people can read about the combination of science and philosophy, in particular the implications of science etc. the main idea is creating essays that feel intellectually stimulating instead of dry academic jargon. i want to make a site for stuff that gives readers that “wait hold on…” kind of realization and sends them down a rabbit hole.
a lot of science/philosophy writing online either feels way too inaccessible or way too surface-level, so i’m trying to build something in between: thoughtful, rigorous, but still genuinely engaging to read.
currently refining the concept + figuring out what people would actually want from a platform like this, so i put together a short form for market research + feedback.
i'd be very grateful if anyone here would be willing to fill it out (takes 5 min) so i can understand what kind of essays i need to publish!
