[REVIEW] In-Hand Summer Haul! LP Summer Walk, Knit Joggers/Trousers & Stone Island Overshirt

Finally upgrading my wardrobe with some quiet luxury vibes—just unboxed these and the texture on them is unreal. Here’s my honest breakdown on how everything actually feels in hand:

  • Loro-Piana Summer Walk (Grey Suede)
    • Pros: The suede is crazy soft and they look super sleek on foot. The hand-stitching is clean, and they fit me TTS.
    • Cons: Suede feels a bit thin near the heel, but it doesn't affect the comfort at all.
  • Loro-Piana Tweed Trousers (Brown/Grey)
    • Pros: I love the heavy drape on these. The double pleats and pre-cuffed hems look high-end when I dress them up.
    • Cons: The fabric is a tiny bit stiff right out of the box, but it's already softening up after a quick steam.
  • Loro-Piana Knit Joggers (Light Grey)
    • Pros: Insanely cozy and zero itchiness. The raised seams down the front give them a really nice structured shape so I don't look like a slouch.
    • Cons: The waistband drawstrings are a little longer than I expected, but I just tie them up.
  • Stone-Island Overshirt (Cream)
    • Pros: Perfect linen-cotton blend for summer. The tonal Ghost badge looks flawless and the relaxed cut is exactly what I wanted.
    • Cons: It wrinkles pretty easily because of the linen blend, but that’s just how the material is.
  • Loro-Piana Knit Polos (Navy & Charcoal)
    • Pros: Super lightweight and soft against the skin. The buttonless v-neck looks very clean and effortless.
    • Cons: The sleeves run slightly snug on the biceps, so size up if you want a looser fit.

💬 Verdict

Honestly, I'm hyped with this haul. The minor flaws are nothing compared to the overall quality. Let me know if you need W2C links or have questions about sizing!

It’s no secret that everyone owns a pair of jeans, but with the recent surge in Vintage and Clean Fit aesthetics, finding "the one" is harder than it looks. At the end of the day, fit is everything—comfort and silhouette matter more than just liking how they look on the rack! There’s also something incredibly rewarding about breaking in raw denim yourself to achieve that authentic vintage wear.

Here’s a breakdown of my current rotation:

▪️ Levi’s 505 / Grey Wash

The 505 features a relaxed straight-leg fit. Compared to the 501, the main difference is the extra room in the thighs. If you love the 501 vibe but find them too tight on the legs, the 505 is your go-to. This grey wash is a bit of a rarity and adds a unique edge to any outfit.

▪️ Levi’s 501 '93 / Light Wash Distressed (Made in USA)

If you’re into denim, you probably already own a pair of 501 '93s. This is the quintessential straight-leg cut—it frames the legs perfectly and elongates your silhouette, which is why it’s a community favorite. This specific pair is the most comfortable in my collection thanks to the soft fabric.

  • Pro Tip: Most 501s feature a button fly (only the 501Z XX has a zipper). While buttons are a bit more of a hassle to undo, they are much more durable than zippers in the long run. This pair is a true "all-rounder" that goes with everything.

▪️ Levi’s 511 / Ice Blue Distressed (Japan Fabric)

While Japanese Levi’s might not hold the same dominance they once did, their fabric and craftsmanship remain world-class. This isn't an LVC (Levi's Vintage Clothing) pair—I’ve actually had these for about seven or eight years. The fit is a slim taper, making it a great entry point for anyone exploring the Amekaji (American Casual) style.

▪️ Levi’s 504 / Distressed Vintage Wash (Made in China)

These are incredibly comfortable thanks to the stretch denim fabric. The fit is a slim-straight cut. This pair is Made in China, which goes to show that domestic denim craftsmanship has become incredibly mature—the details and quality easily rival pairs from any other origin.

▪️ Levi’s 505 / Rigid Raw Denim

I originally bought these with the goal of "fading" them myself to get those personalized honeycombs and whiskers. I’ll be honest: raw denim is a challenge. The fabric is stiff and heavy, but the classic wide straight-leg silhouette makes them incredibly versatile for styling.

  • The Fit: A relaxed, boxy silhouette that provides a natural "loose" comfort, perfect for effortless layering.
  • Fabric: Premium washed cotton twill with a soft, peach-fuzz texture that feels broken-in from day one.

Design Details:

Signature Logo: High-density pony embroidery with clean, sharp needlework.

Hardware: Vintage-toned metal zipper for a rugged, heritage feel.

Versatility: Pairs seamlessly with light-wash denim for a "Clean Fit" look or with chinos for a more preppy approach.
