Hi,

I wanted to ask about advice for pursuing bioinformatics as a career with the current AI boom.

I am coming out of college with a BSc in Genetics and have been accepted to a decent MSc course in bioinformatics and computational biology. Although its an area I really enjoy from my undergrad, I'm worried it is a bad route to go down for my future career opportunities and will be largely replaced by AI soon.

Was hoping someone could advise me if it's still worthwhile pursuing or if you would recommend an alternative career pivot.
