What are my chances of getting hired by RCCL with my background?

Hi everyone!

I recently applied to RCCL and wanted to get some opinions from people in the cruise/hospitality industry.

I currently work as a Corporate Meeting Coordinator at JPMorgan Chase handling corporate meetings, scheduling, vendors, logistics, reporting, and operational coordination.

Before that, I spent several years (8+) in hospitality and events:
- Restaurant operations supervision
- Banquet sales & events
- VIP/private events and luxury guest experiences under an elite hospitality group
- Weddings, corporate functions, and high-volume operations
- Guest service, service recovery, POS/cash handling, billing, and team supervision

I also completed my apprenticeship at a hotel under Accor.

I’m mainly aiming for roles related to guest services, events, or hotel operations onboard.

Do you guys think this kind of background is competitive for RCCL? Would recruiters usually reach out for an interview with this experience? And how long did it take for you guys to hear back after applying? Would appreciate any advice or insights.

Thanks!
