Bought import snacks for my nephew and he got suspended for one day over "inappropriate content"

Last week, I visited a local shopping district where I encountered a store called Teso Life. This Japanese establishment specializes in imported goods. I purchased several boxes of cookies for myself, my sibling, and their family, including my nephew, who is in 4th grade. The cookies were labeled "Couque D'asses." Upon reading the packaging, I found the name amusing, but I didn't think much of it. My nephew ended up taking four packs of these cookie snacks in his lunchbox.

The following Tuesday, I learned that my nephew had been suspended from school for bringing in what was deemed "inappropriate content." During lunch, he ate the cookies but accidentally dropped one of the wrappers on the floor. A teacher picked it up, reported my nephew, and presented the wrapper to the principal. The principal concluded that my nephew had brought in wrappers featuring offensive language, prompting him to inform the parents that they needed to more closely monitor what he brought to school, as the wrapper was considered inappropriate. He insisted on issuing the suspension and dismissed the explanation that the wrapper merely indicated cookies from a Belgian region called Asse.

What exactly went wrong in this situation? Are we expected to remove the packaging from all cookies simply because their names may sound odd? Was the suspension truly warranted when a simple conversation could have resolved the issue? I find myself quite perplexed by this.
