In this economy!?
California dasher here. I just don't get people's logic. Like everything is more expensive right now, and yet some of these sweet summer children ordering Doordash and Uber eats think they're going to get it even cheaper than before? Like no, my rates went right up along with all these price increases. Like they haven't all been told at some point the tip is to be treated as a bid for services. I charge $5 minimum for one mile, and $2 a mile after that. If you can't meet that, you ain't eating. I don't know any dasher that desperate. It's not like we're in a hurry to run our cars into the ground for y'all to have a delivery service subsidized by the drivers. But I am in California. I already knew more than half the customers must be smoked tf out.
