Case head separation question

Had a case head separation at my last match. I learned my lesson and will be replacing my PRS brass more frequently.

It looks like I had some gas cutting into my chamber. I can just barely barely feel it with a pick, so it isn’t super deep, but it’s there. Is my barrel cooked in yalls opinion?

Adjustable Mounts vs Prisms for ELR

Diving into the world of ELR. I notice most people use prisms, so that more than likely answers my question, but what are the thoughts of prisms like the NF vs adjustable mounts like the Ivey mounts? To me, the mount makes more sense for the adjustability but want to see the opinions of those more experienced than me. What are y’all’s thoughts between the two and why would you pick one over the other?
