Hello black magic people!

I am currently at the stage of selecting my major. I would really appreciate if you folks could help me with a few questions, as I need expert opinion on these:

A) what do you think engineering (especially mechanical and electrical) would look like say 10 years from now? Do you see AI taking jobs of engineers?

B) If you could go back in time and choose something like say, computer science, would you?

A little about me; I like maths, like ALOT. I am also fond of things like rockets, cars, and just technology in general. I like making animate useful things, I wouldn't call my current projects "robots" but they are pretty close, I also love playing around with microprocessors/controllers.

I would really appreciate if you guys can help make a decision. Thanks in advance.
