Just wanted to give a shout-out to the very cool squad I ran into as the rook! Gave me lots of free stuff for my biggest extraction haul yet lol
I’m still learning the ropes to Marathon, and I was aiming to extract once I’d gotten the couple unstable gunmetals I needed. Started extracting near the Hauler when I got shot by someone from another team, so I went to hide in the Hauler when one of their guys apologizes for shooting me and said he didn’t know I was a rook. He then asked me if I wanted to join them for an event, so I took them up on the offer. Helped take out a team, they gave me lots of free loot, and then I accidentally lost track of them when I went to loot the building next door and extracted by myself lol.
