Career Advice for post-MBA and a bachelor’s in Psychology.

I recently graduated (albeit late ~5-1/2 years) for my bachelors in Psychology in December, but it was NOT the career I wanted to pursue anymore by the time I graduated.

I managed to land a full time job as an account specialist for procurement/operations in the aerospace and defense industry early last year.

Now, with a year of work experience, I’m looking to complete my MBA at UNH-Durham.

If I stay at my current job, I’ve been told they want to fast-track me. Whatever that entails.

However, I’ve been heavily interested in pivoting to finance ops or management consultant roles. I love the business side of my job, but I want to take it to the next level and earn a higher salary than what procurement roles could offer.

I’m not sure if I’m making the right move or wasting my time. Unfortunately, I had a very low GPA in undergraduate from messing around my first few years, which limited my options for MBA programs this early on.

What could I do with a BA in Psychology and an MBA in finance/business analytics?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
