Anyone have a good outcome after showing Pax8/ppary on affirma?
I’m anxious af waiting for my survgery and could use some reassurance .
I have a 2.5 year old girl and want to live a long life for my baby 😭
I am so unbelievably anxious waiting for this surgery my brain can’t think of anything else
I know there isn’t usually symptoms associated with this C that makes me even more anxious because I’ve been having some weird things happen with my body
I have always been healthy except I did have elevated heart rate . I also was getting nose bleeds every few months which has stopped since last year
Then in January 2024 I gave birth early due to preeclampsia with severe features
During my pregnancy I had weird shit happen I would become SOB at night I would wake up from it.
After I gave birth that went away. But even weirder, I had a complete voice change. My voice sounds sooo strained and I get bad vocal fatigue. I saw an ENT and they said there is borderline a paresis and don’t know what is causing it. They scoped me and saw nothing alarming as far as nodules or anything on the folds
Anyway, I was 150lbs before pregnancy but afterwards I dropped down to 135 and I thought it was because I was eating healthier. Turns out I had postpartum thyroiditis and was in a hyper state.
I was on meds for a little but it eventually stabilized but I was diagnosed with Hashimotos due to antibodies.
Since the birth, still had other weird things ear ringing, hairloss, very mild dizziness in the morning, nodules on my fingers , noticed my fingers getting wrinkly faster (like in a pool) , randomly broke out in hives twice with no known cause, every time they check my knee reflex they notice it’s weird but then do nothing about it. And the one that really concerns me is that I went from 135-130lbs this last year without trying. I’m still hungry and don’t see a change in that regard but if I don’t eat all 3 meals I will lose weight when before pregnancy I ate the same amount and could never lose weight. My TSH levels are currently basically perfect without medicine
Anyway, last week I got my Affirma back and it showed a 1.4cm nodule with PAX8/ppary fusion and I’m bugging the f* out. So scared it’s spread and that’s what causing these weird things?! Hoping n praying it’s just the hashimotos . I have a 2.5 year old girl who is my entire world , I cry just thinking about her
