What are your theories on why people with “perfectly healthy hearts” have cardiac arrest

I won’t sugar coat it, my biggest fear is cardiac arrest, as I may post about it a lot

Something that interests me is people with no heart problems having cardiac arrest. I’ve seen some people who fortunately survived an event, say the docs didn’t find anything wrong with their heart.

Why do seemingly healthy individuals still have CA? Also why would people with heart defects have them? I have a lot of questions about CA and want to find out more about it.

SCA

I think we can all agree this is a scary situation. I myself have cardiophobia around my heart just stopping. I’m in my 20s and live somewhat of a sedentary lifestyle. My echo said my heart is structurally normal, but still am afraid my heart is weak and it’ll stop. What are the chances?

Long QT & right atrial enlargement?

I went to the er for heart fluctuations (hr of 70-100 and all over the place) also, my Apple Watch said my qt was prolonged. I was worried and went there.

The docs said no prolonged qt but it some of the waves look prolonged? Another worrying thing is the ecg says my right atrial is enlarged? Any feedback would help! I’m only in my 20s.
