In a old building with an A/C unit that uses cooled water (don’t remember specifics maintenance guy told me) but after having it on almost 24/7 last summer, that stain appeared close to the ceiling alright above the A/C unit. is it mold? Maintenance thinks it could be from all the cigarette smoke previous occupant did that colored the walls (they just painted over everything before I moved in).

I have wiped it with Lysol/bleach wipe so far
