Is there a way to remove the War Sales DLC from a modded campaign I've already started?

It's my first time using mods so I wasn't thinking that some may not be compatible with the DLC. My problem is my game just crashes anytime I try a naval battle or fight the Nords. I don't want to restart if I don't have to but I the mod that's causing it is the cause of the crashing but its also my favorite one. So idk if there's a way to transfer the save data over to a non DLC save but if anyone could let me know that would be much appreciated!

Can someone please explain why the review thinks I should have traded my Rook for a Knight?

I played kc4 to force the King down and take the ka6 for free. I'm just super confused on how it's a miss.
