Design Portfolio or Freelance/Business Website? (in a pickle)
So i currently have been working at a marketing agency for 6 years as a designer/web designer. They're basically shutting the business down and I need to figure out what i'm going to do next.
I have always wanted to do freelance full-time but never had the time to put into it. I have an opportunity where my agency would recommend me to the current clients we have now to take on as a freelancer.
I don't have a good website portfolio if i wanted to apply to new jobs - it needs completely re-done. I'm going to start working on it but say i want to try and do freelance.. do i combine the 2 into one website? Do i make 2 different websites? If anyone have any examples or ideas i'm all ears. Or even just some advice in general lol.
My portfolio is my college one - I was hired out of college and never touched it again. This is a very good example of why you need to keep it up-to-date.
p.s. i'm not out of a job immediately, i have a 3-4 months until i'm jobless.
