So. I got this idea a bit ago to buy a bunch of inflatable people and fill them with helium, then release them in Colorado Springs (near the Focus on the Family headquarters) or DC to fake the rapture.
I, however am broke and live in Canada. However, just going to throw this out there for anyone in or near DC or Colorado Springs who has some money to burn...
I need to start by saying and making it clear that most of this is satirical. It does not entirely or accurately represent my political views. And it is not meant as an actual political outline.
Utopia is impossible without dystopia.
The only way to maintain utopia is through justice, which must be swift. It must be ruthless. It must be vigilant. It must be unmoving.
The only way to rule utopia is with an open hand, which must be outstretched and gentle. It must give freely. It must not take, for no peace comes from a greedy fist.
The only way to build utopia is through equality. Everyone must get what they need to function at their best. It must not be equity, for equity is a construct designed to demonize equality. True equality is everyone having access to what they need. All will have access to these things, without exception.
The only way to enforce utopia is with second chances. It must focus on rehabilitation, it cannot use separation like the justice systems of today. It must not tolerate repeated offences. It must not tolerate hate crime. It cannot allow for discrimination. It must, however, tolerate opposition. Without opposition, power will errode and corrupt those who hold it.
The only way to have utopia is anger. It must be righteously angry at all times. It must hate all hate, and love all love. It must be volatile and ready to lash out at the first sign of hatred, crushing it before it can grow to hate group. It must not forget how it felt to be an angry teenager, bristling with rage at all the injustice of the world, and it must act as such.
The only way to manage information in utopia is transparency. Only that which must be hidden is hidden, such as sensitive data: Things that could effect ongoing investigations, the privacy of individuals, weapon codes, and other such things. All information must be fully revealed to the people within 48 hours of its acquisition. It must also be made available for access online.
The only way to run utopia is communication. All parties must be fully aware of all other parties stances and views, as well as their plans for the future. They must all be on the same page.
The only way to fund utopia is taxes. It must tax the rich relentlessly, and give to the poor. It must serve the lowest of the low, and fight all those at the top who do not do the same. It must also keep all corporations in check, for they must serve the people and the government, and no one must serve them.
The only way to grow in Utopia is destruction. It must abolish all such stereotypes as the nuclear family being the most stable family model, the "sacred institution of marriage," and the "dangerous delinquents" of the counterculture.
The only way to ensure utopia for the future generations is indoctrination. The children must be taught of all history, both good and bad, from an unbiased perspective to help show that the present and future are the best time history has known, and to remove the delusions of "good old days". They must be taught the atrocities defended by such institutions as church and state, and the dangers of fanaticism to such institutions. From this knowledge, they can draw their own beliefs and conclusions.
The only way to socialise in utopia is anonymity. All things such as the colour of one's skin, their genitalia, pronouns, voice, choice of worship or lack thereof, romantic and sexual interests, and all other characteristics that are out of their control must be irrelevant. All xenophobia must be abolished and taught to children as being the first step to horrible events such as the Holocaust and other such hateful disasters.
The only way to identify in utopia is diversity. We are not carbon copies. We all have different strengths and weaknesses, and we all have different physical and mental capabilities. For most of recent history, capitalists and scared leaders have deconstructed all individuality and identity beyond that of the group. It is true that no person is an island, but no continent is one repeating landscape.
Utopia is impossible without dystopia. Impossible without control. Impossible without hate. Impossible without hypocrisy. Utopia is impossible without both an iron fist, and an open hand.
