I’m wanting to switch my 8 year old goldens food… he’s getting older and technically a senior. he’s has a sensitive stomach and has diarrhea more often than i want him to. i’m looking into to Purina Pro Plan.. but which one? i see a 7+ sensitive skin and stomach, digestive support, and the senior large dog. which would be the best for him? would the senior bag help with his digestive system too like an all in one?
Over the weekend my boyfriend and i went camping with no service. once we got service we received texts from his little brother who watched our house for us. he stated that he threw up once being clear and had diarrhea and not really wanting to eat. when i got home he didn’t seem entirely like himself. but, i fed him rice chicken and pumpkin puree and he ate all of it. this morning i woke up with no warning to diarrhea with one large turd in it. and what looked like to be a small speck of blood. i immediately let him outside to watch him squat to poop but nothing happened. i went to feed him the same meal as dinner yesterday but he just picked all the chicken out. he’s still drinking water and hasn’t thrown up since over the weekend. is this a blockage? he’s had one in the past, and he couldn’t keep anything down even water. he’s an 8 year old golden retriever. i’m looking to see if he’s just having a belly ache or if it’s something more serious… help
