I’m in Pune and need to reach Mumbai on a weekend to visit a friend. Train tickets don’t seem to be available, and the only option I can find is Vande Bharat, which is a bit expensive.

What’s the cheapest way to get there? I’ve heard about local/general trains and routes via Lonavala, but I’m new to Pune and don’t really know how any of that works.

I’d appreciate any budget travel tips from people who regularly travel between Pune and Mumbai. Ideally, I’d like to reach Mumbai before 12 PM.

Shifted to Pune last week and honestly getting bored sitting in my PG all day. I really wanna explore the whole city — cafes, random food places, forts, late night chai spots, malls, walks, movies, drives, literally anything fun.

But solo exploring gets lonely after a point 😭

Looking for chill people around my age who are also new here or just wanna hangout and explore Pune together. I’m pretty easygoing and down for spontaneous plans.
