hi im a salutatorian for my class, graduating in around a month and a half and was dragged out of class today and informed I have to give a speech. Should I do it? Part of me hates the generic corny speech that we all know and I feel like it wouldn't align with me. i feel like forcing an disingenuous speech on myself won't make me look back and be grateful for what i said. Idk how to describe it honestly, any advice from anyone who has or hasn't done this speech? Thanks.

also my graduation class is kind of small, were a smaller city in norcal, do other districts make speeches mandatory? TY!
