Pre disclosure settlement offer
Still in early stages of claim for disability discrimination - claiming for loss of earnings as well as injury to feelings and personal injury (exacerbation of pre-existing condition) my evidence is strong both medically and in regards to the discrimination. Disclosure has yet to take place and I have received an offer through ACAS of £11,000 - for reference my wage was only £15,000.
I’m not interested in taking the offer as I have full confidence that the value of my case is significantly higher. My life has fallen apart as a result of what I went through. Interested in opinions if an early offer like this indicates the Respondent views my claim is likely to be worth considerably more? What are the chances that this offer will increase prior to final hearing once evidence has been exchanged?
