Hey everyone, I got an offer for Bachelor of Data Science at UNSW but I need to do the UNSW Foundation Program first for 1 year.

A few things I’m trying to figure out:

1. Difficulty/grading: How hard is it to actually meet the progression requirement to get into Data Science? (They said I need to meet a gpa of 7.5)
2. Subjects: For Data Science, which streams/subjects should I pick in Foundation? Is it Standard or Extended program that most people do?
3. Experience: Is the workload manageable if you’re working part-time? How are the classes/lecturers?
4. Pathway: Does everyone who passes with the required grades actually get into their degree, or is it competitive again?

If you did Foundation then transferred into CS/Data Science, I’d really appreciate hearing what it was like.
