Anyone involved in amateur football in Dublin ever struggle when a pitch gets cancelled last minute?

I’m talking:

• waterlogged grass pitches
• double bookings
• late venue cancellations
• trying to find an astro a few hours before kickoff

Curious how people currently solve this.

Do teams just ring around venues manually or is there already a better system people use?

I’m researching whether a simple replacement-pitch finder for Dublin would actually be useful.

Would appreciate any thoughts.
